Day 1 - Morning
Introductions, bacon roles, hopes
and fears
Experiential learning exercise - The '3 Islands' Project
Simulation of a multi faceted project, demonstrating the need
for clarity of purpose and establishment of communication and
structure.
Review
This will major on the diversity of individual perceptions and
on establishing the foundations of a team process for working
together effectively.

Lunch at the hotel then....
Major Initiative Exercise - Eagle Down
This is a large exercise going into the early evening, with
a scenarios based throughout the area. The teams brief
to find a vital piece of equipment. The exercise involves complex
planning and a range of tasks to achieve the objective. Sub
groups work in the field communicating by radio, agreeing best
approaches and carrying these out in a collaborative fashion.
1730 Review
Majoring on sharing and exploring information, communication,
problem solving and task allocation.
Characteristics of Our Team
Analysis of successful teams leading to the establishment
of characteristics to strive for in our team.
Break before dinner then team dinner.
Day 2
0900 High Ropes Course
This team based activity majors on the need for support
to both overcome challenge and deliver the teams requirements.
Being careful to extend members only to that which they
are comfortable, the ropes course offers a metaphor for
challenge, change and support. The more adventurous can
experience the heights and delights of the apparatus,
whilst others fulfill the vital roles of support both
physical and mental. The ropes course ids designed to
be both challenging but safe. |

Review
Helpful and hindering forces to challenging paradigms, inter
member support and its enabling effects, how support is delivered
and transferable learning to our work.
Lunch
Afternoon
Teams Cards
Interactive game to look at our perception of how we work
in a group environment then relate this back in plenary to
the competencies of the overall team. Excellent for getting
to know other members better and complimenting styles.

The Challenge
Team task to put into practise all the learning from the
two days. The team works against the cto plan and execute
and adventurous undertaking.
